Day shift 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30), requiring 36 guaranteed hours per week with every other weekend availability.

Job Description

We are seeking a talented and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Emergency Medicine to join our team. The ideal candidate will effectively interpret and manage heart rhythm changes, care for critically ill patients with multi-organ issues, and provide high-quality emergency nursing care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and manage heart rhythm changes (dysrhythmias).
• Care for critically ill patients with multi-organ issues.
• Administer blood products and manage central lines.
• Start and maintain IVs, administer IV sedation and vasopressors.
• Care for stroke (CVA) patients and ventilated patients.
• Manage BiPAP/CPAP and interpret arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Follow isolation precautions and perform triage as needed.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1.5 years of nursing experience with at least 2 years of recent ER experience.

Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license required (NY or compact).
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required.
