Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Pediatric Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will work in a fast-paced environment providing quality care and support to pediatric patients. You will be part of a small team and expected to maintain an efficient workflow, ensuring high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct triage and assess patient acuity.
• Perform initiatives such as IV placement, EKGs, and moderate sedation.
• Utilize equipment including IV pumps and point of care lab machines.
• Collaborate with a team of nurses to manage patient care effectively.

Required Experience

Must have strong IV and EKG skills along with triage acuity training.

Certifications / Licensure

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
