Night shift, 3x12 hour (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend is required.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in the Emergency Department to join our team. The RN will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment, working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, including neonates, adolescents, and adults.
• Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Perform phlebotomy and start IVs as needed.
• Administer blood products, emergency medications, and IV vasopressors.
• Conduct procedural sedation administration and monitoring.
• Interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
• Utilize the Epic charting system for documentation.
• Float to other areas when census warrants.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department setting.
• Mandatory competency in phlebotomy and IV placement.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
• New York state RN license required in hand for submission.
