Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to join our team. This position requires a strong foundation in emergency care with skills in dysrhythmia interpretation, organ dysfunction management, and IV administration.

Responsibilities

• Manage patients with multisystem organ dysfunction and perform blood product administration.
• Provide care through phlebotomy and IV placements.
• Administer emergency medications and manage IV vasopressors.
• Ensure compliance with isolation precautions and procedural sedation monitoring.
• Float to other areas as needed based on census demands.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in an Emergency Department setting is required. Experience managing patient ratios of 1:5.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current NY RN license is required.
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
