Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specialized in Emergency Department (ER) with a minimum of 1 year of experience. The successful candidate will provide care to patients across various acuity levels and will be expected to float when census warrants.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
• Management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure.
• Blood product administration and central line care/management.
• Phlebotomy and starting IVs, including continuous IV paralytics and sedation.
• Administration of emergency medications and procedural sedation monitoring.
• Adhere to isolation precautions and assist in obtaining 12 lead EKGs.

Required Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience in an emergency department setting.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS.
• Must hold a valid NY RN license.
