Night shift, 3x12-Hour, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, requiring every other weekend availability.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our Free Standing Emergency Room. In this role, you will provide emergency care to a diverse patient population, including adults and pediatrics, in a fast-paced environment. You will work within a nursing team with a patient ratio of 1:5-7 during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate emergency care for patients of varying age groups, including neonates, children, adults, and geriatrics.
• Utilize established protocols to evaluate and treat a range of emergency conditions and injuries.
• Administer medications and monitor vital signs in critical situations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Radiology and Interpretation Services, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Assist with procedural sedation and the management of ventilated patients.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standard operating procedures.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Emergency Department nursing.
• Experience with a wide range of emergency conditions and adult/pediatric care.

Certifications / Licensure

• Current South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License is required.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS are required. NRP and TNCC are preferred.
