Emergency Room Registered Nurse - Night Shift

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in high acuity emergency departments and be skilled in managing multiple critical care scenarios. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide exceptional care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Execute emergency medical interventions per established protocols, including RSI, sepsis interventions, and stroke protocols with tPA administration.
• Manage patient care in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring adherence to EMTALA regulations for transfers.
• Utilize EMR systems (Meditech) effectively for documentation and coordination of care.
• Provide care for psych patients and support for patients with high acuity needs.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Must have completed 2-3 travel assignments.
• Two to three years of emergency room nursing experience is required.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC.
• Preferred certifications: ENPC, NRP, NIHSS.
