Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

Assignment Duration

This is a short-term position with an estimated contract duration of approximately 2 weeks, transitioning to full-time afterwards.

Schedule

Shifts are scheduled as 3x12 hours, during the day from 07:00 to 19:00, with varying schedules based on facility needs. Weekend shifts are required.

Job Description

The Emergency Room Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in a free-standing emergency and urgent care facility. The role involves effectively managing patient flow, performing assessments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the emergency room setting.
• Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals on patient care.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health regulations.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of emergency room nursing experience is required.
• Valid South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact RN license.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required; CPI and TNCC preferred.
• Epic charting experience is mandatory.
