Schedule

9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with rotating on-call, weekends, and holidays.

Job Description

Delivers quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. Works collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team to maintain standards for professional nursing practice. Carries out functions according to medical center policy, mission, and standards of practice as defined by professional and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care in the operating room setting.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning and providing care.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain standards for professional nursing practice.
• Adhere to medical center policies and regulatory guidelines.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2+ years of Operating Room experience - REQUIRED
• Must be able to circulate - REQUIRED
• Experienced with Orthopedic, General, GYN, Urology, and Neuro procedures - REQUIRED
• Completion of a skills checklist within one year of application for RN specialties - REQUIRED
• Trauma Level II experience - PREFERRED
• Current Michigan RN license with verification from LARA and Nursys
• BLS certification (AHA) - REQUIRED
