7A-7:30P / 7P-7:30A with rotating weekends.

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled RN for the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). The ideal candidate will be trained on CVICU devices to support cardiovascular cases, with a focus on providing high-quality care to patients.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage hemodynamic status using Swan-Ganz catheters and arterial lines.
• Administer and manage ventilator support for critically ill patients.
• Provide post-operative care for patients recovering from CABG, VAD, and other cardiac procedures.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to assess and respond to patient needs effectively.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• Active TX RN license; no temporary licenses accepted.
• Experience with IABP and CRRT preferred.
