Job Description
The ICU Float Pool Nurse will provide critical care to patients across various ICU specialties, including Surgical ICU, Cardiac ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Medical ICU, and Bone Marrow Transplant/Oncology ICU. The role involves managing ventilated patients, IV sedation, and monitoring for neuro and cardiac changes.
Responsibilities
- Provide care to critically ill patients in multiple intensive care settings.
- Perform neurological assessments and monitor for changes.
- Administer medications and manage IV drips.
- Document patient care in EPIC.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
- Experience with neuro and cardiac patients.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN license in the state of Washington.
- ACLS and BLS certifications required.
- CCRN certification preferred.
