Job Description
The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab will work within a dynamic environment that includes three cath labs along with a holding area for in-patients and a radial lounge for out-patients. The role involves caring for adult patients undergoing a variety of cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and administer medications during cardiac procedures.
- Utilize various equipment including OCT, IVUS, Shockwave, Impella, and IABP.
- Collaborate with a team of 13 RNs and 7 Techs to provide excellent patient care.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and conditions during and after procedures.
- Document patient information and maintain accurate records using Sunrise / Allscripts, Mac Lab.
Required Experience
- Critical care experience.
- Experience with Impella and IABP.
- Proficient in independently titrating drips.
- ACLS certification is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current RN License.
- ACLS certification required.
