ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Cath Lab (Day Shift) in Anchorage, Alaska.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Schedule consists of 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift. The shift is during the day, with on-call requirements for 1 day per week and one weekend every 4th weekend, along with an additional Saturday approximately once a month as part of the scheduled shifts.
Job Description
This role involves working in a Magnet facility with a total of 407 staffed beds and offering a comprehensive range of cardiac catheterization procedures. Registered Nurses in the Cath Lab will engage in critical care settings, perform diagnostic and interventional procedures, and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the process. The electronic documentation system in use is Epic.
Responsibilities
- Perform cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and stent placements.
- Monitor and manage patients during procedures, including procedural sedation.
- Administer medications and monitor patient response, including IV vasopressors and other interventions.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver effective patient care.
- Assist in the maintenance of patient safety protocols and infection prevention measures.
- Provide on-call coverage as specified in the schedule.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
- Previous charge experience preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current Alaska RN license must be in hand for auto offer.
- Required certifications: BLS and ACLS.
