Job Description

The Cardiac Cath Lab unit at Methodist Hospital Texsan consists of 110 beds, with a focus on providing exceptional care in cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures. The team features a mix of experienced nursing staff and techs, ensuring high standards of medical attention and patient safety. The unit utilizes advanced equipment including Siemens and Philips technology and operates with a robust EMR system.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Afib/Afluter ablation cases independently.
• Scrub for Afib/Afluter Ablations and Permanent Pacemaker insertions.
• Assist with a variety of procedures including Watchman, LHC, CHC, PCI, Impella, Balloon Pumps, and Thrombectomies.
• Work collaboratively with the Cath Lab and EP team, providing care flexibility as needed.
• Ensure proper documentation and adherence to hospital policies.

Required Experience

• Proven experience in monitoring and scrubbing for Afib/Afluter ablation cases.
• Ability to work across both Cath Lab and EP Lab environments.

Certifications/Licensure

• Required: RCIS, RCES, ACLS, BLS.
