Job Description
As a Cath Lab Registered Nurse at our facility, you will be an integral part of a 6-member team dedicated to providing excellent patient care in our one-bay Cath/EP Lab. Your role includes collaboration with a Cath Lab Tech to monitor and support patients undergoing various cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform left heart catheterizations, PCI, pacemaker, and ICD implant procedures.
- Administer TEE, cardioversion, loop recorder placements, EP studies, and EP ablations.
- Scrub and monitor during cardiac procedures with attention to detail and patient safety.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule, minimally covering three team members per night.
Required Experience
- Experience as a scrub RN in a Cath Lab.
- Ability to monitor during procedures.
Certifications / Licensure
- ACLS certification is required.
- RCIS or RRT credentials preferred.
