Schedule/Shift
This position requires 3x12 hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:30, including every other weekend.
Job Description
The position is for an RN on a 22-bed adolescent female unit focused on crisis stabilization, medication management, and group therapeutic activities. You will work alongside interdisciplinary teams including mental health workers, occupational therapists, music therapists, and social workers.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adolescent patients with behavioral health issues.
- Support and participate in group therapeutic activities.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient care using the Sunrise charting system.
- May be required to serve as charge RN during shifts without additional pay.
- Float within the scope to meet facility needs.
Required Experience
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in Behavioral Health.
- Previous charge experience is preferred.
- Experience with the Sunrise charting system is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Must hold a permanent RN license in the state of Maryland.
