Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care in the psychiatric unit. Responsibilities include assessment of patient needs, developing care plans, implementing therapeutic interventions, and collaborating with the healthcare team to enhance patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental and physical health.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients and families.
• Document all patient care activities in compliance with facility policies.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team for optimal patient care.

Required Experience

Qualified candidates must possess a current Registered Nurse license and have at least one year of experience in a psychiatric setting.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active Registered Nurse license in California.
• BLS certification required.
