Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in the Behavioral Health unit, providing care to adult patients. This role requires a solid understanding of psychiatric nursing, including the management of voluntary, detox, and behavioral health patients. With a patient ratio of 1:14, the RN will assist in assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for individuals experiencing mental health crises.

Responsibilities

• Administer medication and monitor patient responses.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation in Wellsky EHR.
• Demonstrate strong de-escalation skills when interacting with patients.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year experience in Psychiatric nursing.

Certifications/Licensure

• Active RN License
• BLS certification (must be AHA)
• CPI/HWC certification
