Schedule/Shift
Shift: 19:00 - 07:30, 12-hour night shift. Weekly guaranteed hours: 36. Weekend hours: every other/as needed. No call requirements.
Job Description
The Registered Nurse will provide care in a Behavioral Health unit that serves patients aged 18 to 99. The facility has a total of 24 beds and utilizes an electronic health record (EHR) system. As a floating staff member, the RN will rotate among three different units as needed.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate care to patients dealing with mental health issues.
- Recognize and treat mental health as a serious illness.
- Document patient care and maintain updated records using EHR.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Required Experience
- 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in behavioral health settings.
- Previous experience in psychiatric or detox care is preferred.
Certifications/Licensure
- Valid RN license to practice in Ohio.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Healing Well Certified (HWC) certification required.
