Job Description
As a Registered Nurse in the Telemetry/PCU unit, you will provide high-quality care to cardiac patients, including those recovering from procedures such as cardiac catheterizations, open heart surgeries, and TAVR. The unit is equipped to handle a geriatric cardiac population and offers a supportive environment with a focus on advanced patient care.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and assess patients' conditions in the Telemetry/PCU.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure integrated patient care.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a Cardiac or Telemetry unit.
- Proficiency in the care of patients with cardiac conditions.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
