Job Description

Ashley Regional Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the ICU/PCU. The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a Level IV Trauma Center with a patient ratio of 1:2. The role includes working with a diverse patient population across the lifespan.

Responsibilities

• Perform critical assessments and manage patient care in the ICU setting.
• Utilize appropriate interventions for common diagnoses including DKA, hypertensive crisis, COPD exacerbations, and pneumonia.
• Document patient care accurately using the Medhost EHR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Experience

2+ years of ICU experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
