Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Level 2 ICU team. The nurse will provide care in a dynamic environment that includes open-heart program, Cath lab, neuro-surgery, and CRRT programs. Our unit services a range of critical cases, focusing on patients recovering from open-heart surgery, heart failure, respiratory failure, trauma, stroke, and septic shock.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in a 24-bed Unit.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement care plans.
- Monitor patients using advanced equipment such as EVDs, bolt monitoring, and CRRT systems.
- Administer medications and manage patient care protocols effectively.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or similar ICU setting is required.
Certifications / Licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- NIHSS certification
