Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Monday - Friday, 0700-1500, including every other weekend and one on-call shift every three weeks.
Job Description
The X-Ray Technician will perform imaging procedures in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines. Responsibilities include maintaining all imaging equipment, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, monitoring the need for procedure revisions, and coordinating daily imaging procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures following established guidelines.
- Maintain and assess the safety of imaging equipment.
- Ensure the physical and physiological comfort of patients during procedures.
- Monitor and coordinate daily imaging procedures.
- Revise procedures as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
Required Experience
1-3 years of experience as an X-Ray Technician is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Graduate of an accredited radiography school.
- Current New Jersey State RT License.
- ARRT certification.
- BLS certification.
