Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in an acute care hospital setting. The position requires proficiency in various radiologic techniques and familiarity with the Epic charting system. This role involves providing quality patient care, managing the safe use of medical imaging equipment, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Perform abdominal, chest, extremity, and spinal radiography.
- Administer contrast media as necessary for imaging procedures.
- Document all procedures accurately in the Epic system.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed, including proper use of shielding and safety equipment.
- Provide patient education and support during imaging procedures.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a radiology setting.
- Experience with various imaging techniques and procedures.
Certifications/Licensure
- Current CA Radiologic Technologist License.
- ARRT certification in Radiography.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
