Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule / Shift

The position requires working 3x12-hour shifts from Friday to Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, with additional on-call requirements 3-4 days per month and holidays as needed.

Job Description

The X-Ray Technician will perform imaging procedures in a teaching hospital environment, ensuring high quality and safety standards. Candidates should be capable of floating to other buildings on the same campus as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform various X-ray imaging procedures, including C-arm and O-arm procedures.
• Maintain radiation safety protocols and ensure proper usage of equipment.
• Document patient care and procedures accurately in the electronic health record system.
• Assist in patient positioning and ensure comfort during procedures.
• Participate in departmental meetings and training sessions as required.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as an X-Ray Technician.
• C-arm and O-arm experience is required; trauma experience preferred but not necessary.

Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification required.
• BLS certification is required.
• South Carolina state licensure must be in hand prior to the start date.
