Day shift, 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30).
Job Description
This position is based in an acute care hospital with a total of 150 staffed beds. As a Radiation Therapist, you will work with adult and geriatric patients, focusing on various cancer treatments and utilizing the Epic charting system.
Responsibilities
- Administer radiation therapy to patients as prescribed by oncologists.
- Perform patient simulations and treatment planning.
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques and technologies, including SBRT and SRS.
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
- Provide patient education regarding treatment procedures and safety precautions.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiation Therapist.
- Experience with Epic charting is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy.
- BLS certification.
- A valid compact license must be in hand at submission.
