Day Shift, 5 x 8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30)

Job Description

The Radiation Therapist will provide comprehensive radiation therapy to adult and geriatric patients. The ideal candidate will be familiar with the Elekta technology and Epic charting system. This position may involve floating between like units as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments accurately according to doctor’s prescriptions.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
• Record treatment details and patient responses in the Epic charting system.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including radiology and social services.
• Utilize specialized equipment such as CRad in radiation therapy procedures.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience.
• Previous experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT (T) certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Valid state license must be in hand at submission.
