5x8's, M-F, Varied Shifts. Weekly guaranteed hours: 40. Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts.

Job Description

The Mammography Technologist is responsible for producing diagnostic mammograms and assisting the radiologist and referring physicians with mammographic procedures. This role ensures patient care while representing the purpose of the health organization.

Responsibilities

• Produce high-quality diagnostic mammograms.
• Assist radiologists and referring physicians during mammographic procedures.
• Demonstrate technical skills required to operate mammographic equipment.
• Provide patient care addressing physical, psychosocial, and safety needs for adult and geriatric patients.
• Make technical decisions to ensure optimal mammographic image quality.

Required Experience

2 years of mammography technology experience required. Prior travel experience is also necessary.

Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification required.
• Nevada State License must be obtained before the start date.
• BLS certification required.
