ARMStaffing is looking for a Radiologic Technologist, Interventional Radiology (Day Shift) in Rochester, New York.

This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
This position includes 5x8 hour days with on-call, callback, and holiday requirements according to unit needs. There will be approximately 5-7 call shifts per 7-week time block, with 2-4 of these shifts occurring on weekends.
Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist will work within the Interventional Radiology department, demonstrating competence in selecting exposure factors and positioning to produce high-quality radiologic images. The tech will collaborate effectively with team members to quickly resolve issues and ensure patient rights and safety are upheld at all times during interactions.
Responsibilities
- Instruct and prepare patients for examinations, assisting the Radiologist during procedures.
- Operate all imaging equipment competently and report malfunctions to the manager or lead.
- Complete all assigned procedures in a timely manner, utilizing downtime efficiently to assist others and partake in room turnovers.
- Ensure medication security is maintained and accessible only to authorized personnel.
- Provide healthcare services competently across all age groups while maintaining a professional demeanor in interpersonal interactions.
- Answer technical inquiries from physicians or hospital personnel while adhering to good phone etiquette.
Required Experience
- Two (2) years of experience in a related role.
- NYS License or ability to obtain before start date.
- BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
Certifications/Licensure
- ARRT Certification required.
- VIR Certification preferred.
