Job Description

The Interventional Radiology unit is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team. Our unit specializes in a range of interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will have critical care and procedural area experience and possess the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with procedures such as biopsies, angiograms, paracenteses, thoracentesis, and line placement.
• Monitor patients and provide care during interventional radiology procedures.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Administer moderate sedation as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of Virginia.
• Certification in BLS and ACLS.
• Experience in critical care and procedural areas.
• Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
• PALS certification is a plus.
