Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule (08:30 - 16:30).
Job Description
The Cardiac Sonographer will be responsible for performing echocardiograms, fetal echocardiograms, and other diagnostic cardiac studies. This role requires proficiency in pediatric echocardiograms and the ability to work independently. Experience in fetal echocardiography is highly preferred. Clinicians must provide on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays, which include Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's.
Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiograms, including fetal echocardiograms.
- Conduct other diagnostic cardiac studies as required.
- Work independently in a clinical environment.
- Provide on-call coverage during winter holidays as needed.
Required Experience
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cardiac sonography.
- Experience with pediatric echocardiograms is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active NJ or Compact license required.
- BLS certification required.
- ARDMS RDCS FE or CCI RCCS preferred.
