Schedule/Shift
The schedule for this position includes rotating shifts with the possibility of occasional night shifts and weekend requirements, including a minimum of every other weekend.
Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist will provide patient care in various radiology modalities. This role may require rotations in different departments and adjustments in scheduling to meet patient care needs. Candidates should be comfortable working in a dynamic environment, handling emergency situations as they arise.
Responsibilities
- Perform radiology procedures with a focus on CT and standard radiographic imaging.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Operate radiology equipment efficiently and follow departmental protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using Epic EMR.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to assess patient conditions and provide optimal care.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in radiology, with prior travel experience preferred.
- Experience with Epic EMR within the past 2 years is required and nonnegotiable.
Certifications/Licensure
- ARRT certification in CT and radiology is required.
- BLS certification is also required.
