Job Description
The PET-CT Tech (Dual) will perform imaging procedures to support patient diagnosis and treatment as part of the imaging team at the facility. This role requires providing high-quality images while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Perform PET-CT imaging procedures according to protocols.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging.
- Maintain equipment and ensure it is in proper working order.
- Document procedures accurately in compliance with protocols.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide optimal patient care.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in PET and CT imaging.
Certifications/Licensure
- AHA BLS certification required.
- Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology and/or Radiologic Technology program.
- CNMT or PET certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board OR Registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through the American Registry of Radiological Technologists (ARRT).
- Advanced certification in Computed Tomography with ARRT or NMTCB required.
