Multimodality Technologist (CT/X-Ray) - Day Shift
Schedule
This is a 13-week contract position, requiring a Day 3x12-Hour shift from 07:00 to 19:30, with every other weekend availability.
Job Description
The Multimodality Technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within X-ray and CT modalities. The technologist is responsible for effectively explaining procedures to patients, ensuring their understanding and competency, as well as producing images for interpretation by licensed practitioners.
Responsibilities
- Perform imaging procedures using X-ray and CT equipment.
- Ensure quality control and safety standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding procedures.
- Produce clear and diagnostic-quality images for interpretation.
- Follow protocol for preparation and/or administration of contrast media.
- Maintain radiation safety and utilize proper PPE.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT) (R) & Computed Tomography (ARRT) (C).
- Current BLS and ACLS certification (pending accepted if obtained within 2-3 weeks of hire).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience preferred in Emergency, Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic exams.
- Experience with Siemens equipment, EPIC, and PACS is highly preferred.
- SC State License required.
