This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule/Shift
Shifts are Monday to Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with possible weekend coverage and holiday requirements.
Job Description
The CT Technologist will perform diagnostic imaging using CT equipment for both adult and pediatric patients. You will be responsible for ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures and will maintain a high standard of quality in imaging. Knowledge of EPIC for documentation and experience with Canon, Toshiba, and Fuji Synapse systems is beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans on patients as per the medical protocols.
- Maintain radiation safety standards by using protective measures and ensuring proper use of radiation badges.
- Document patient information and procedures accurately in the EPIC system.
- Assist in ensuring the imaging department adheres to accreditation standards.
Required Experience
- Current or temporary Radiography license in West Virginia.
- ARRT certification in CT is preferred; Radiography certification through ARRT or Nuclear Medicine license required.
- Experience with IV insertion for contrast administration is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- BLS certification (must be AHA).
- Valid West Virginia Radiography or Nuclear Medicine and Diagnostic CT License.
