This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

This position requires nights, specifically from 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.

Job Description

The CT Technologist will perform CT scans to assist in the diagnosis of patients in a trauma and emergency setting. The technologist will be responsible for operating a GE 64 Slice CT machine and documenting patient information using the Meditech system.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans as per physician's orders, ensuring quality images for diagnosis.
• Prepare and educate patients regarding the CT procedures.
• Maintain and operate CT scanning equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Document and record patient data accurately in the Meditech system.
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in a trauma setting is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• ARRT (CT) certification is required.
• Texas Radiologic Technologist License is required.
• BLS certification is required.
