CT Tech - Night Shift

Schedule

3x12 hour shifts (6:00 PM - 8:30 AM), with every weekend required.

Job Description

The CT Tech position involves providing high-quality computed tomography imaging for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, specifically in the Emergency Department and Level I trauma settings. The role requires proficient handling of various imaging techniques and direct patient care, emphasizing safety and efficacy.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
• Administer contrast media and prepare patients for imaging.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Collaborate with medical staff to provide quality care in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Document and maintain accurate records using Centricity RIS-IC charting system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Tech experience required.
• Experience in Emergency Department and Level I trauma preferred.
• ARRT (CT) certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience with various CT imaging techniques including abdominal, pelvic, chest, head and neck, vascular CTAs, brain perfusion, and musculoskeletal trauma.
• Philips CT scanner experience is required.
