3x12-hour shifts, 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, with every other weekend required.

Job Description

The Multimodality Technologist provides quality imaging and patient care within both X-ray and CT modalities. This role involves explaining procedures to patients, ensuring their competence in the process, and producing accurate images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality imaging and patient care in X-ray and CT.
• Effectively communicate procedures to patients.
• Produce diagnostic images for analysis by licensed practitioners.
• Adhere to safety standards and protocols, including radiation safety.
• Possibly float to West Ashley FSED or Kiawah as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Radiography and Computed Tomography (CT).
• Must be registered in both Radiography (ARRT)(R) and Computed Tomography (ARRT)(CT).
• Current South Carolina Radiology License (SCRQSA) and BLS certification are required.
• Experience with Adult Inpatient, Emergency, and Siemens/PACs is required.
• Level I/Level II Trauma, Pediatrics, and Orthopedic exams experience is highly preferred.
