This position offers a Day Shift schedule with 4x10-hour shifts from 08:00 to 18:00.

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technician will work in a dynamic interventional radiology department performing diagnostic catheterizations and various interventions including angioplasty, cardiac stenting, and AICD implants. The technician will be responsible for maintaining a sterile field, patient monitoring, and assisting physicians during procedures. Experience with both cath lab and interventional radiology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in diagnostic and interventional catheterization procedures.
• Monitor patients’ conditions and maintain accurate documentation of procedures.
• Help maintain sterile environments and manage a variety of equipment.
• Perform specific technical skills involving accessing/managing ports, cardiac ablation, and stent placements.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Cath Lab setting.
• Experience with patient monitoring and charting systems.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current BLS certification required.
• ARRT or CCI certification required; Kansas license needed if ARRT.
