Oncology Physical Therapist

Days, 8 hours with a guaranteed 40 hours per week.
Job Description
The Oncology Physical Therapist will evaluate and treat patients with cancer-related impairments, including pain, fatigue, lymphedema, and functional limitations, to enhance their quality of life and mobility. This role involves creating individualized, evidence-based exercise programs, providing patient education, and coordinating care with oncologists.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Implement treatment sessions focusing on strength building, mobility, and balance improvement.
- Manage musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and cardiovascular needs throughout the cancer care continuum.
- Educate patients and families on exercise programs and rehabilitation processes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2+ years of current physical therapy experience.
- Outpatient orthopedic experience is required.
- Previous travel experience is highly preferred.
- Active New Hampshire or Compact Physical Therapy License is required.
- Certification in BLS (AHA) is required.
- Experience with EPIC and Expro software is required.
- Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
