Physical Therapist - Outpatient/Inpatient

Location

Close to the Canadian border, with access to 66 lakes and various outdoor activities.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts (flexible start times at 7:30 AM).

Job Description

The Physical Therapist will provide care across a broad patient population, including infants, geriatrics, and individuals with various diagnoses such as pelvic floor issues, post-stroke recovery, and total joint replacements. The role requires a flexible therapist who is prepared to serve any patient who walks through the door and is comfortable handling diverse cases including pediatric patients with autism.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and monitor therapeutic interventions in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Collaborate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team, including PTs, OTs, rehab aides, and management.
• Maintain accurate documentation using the TruBridge - Evident charting system.
• Provide feedback and patient education to promote recovery and independence.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• BLS certification is required.
• Prior experience in both inpatient and outpatient therapy is preferred, but first-time travelers are welcome.
• A physical therapy license is mandatory to practice.
