Day Shift, 5 days per week, with rotating weekend coverage required (one weekend per month).
Job Description
The Occupational Therapist will work in a Short Term Acute Care / Level III Trauma Center with a focus on acute care settings, providing evaluations and treatments across various units, including Acute, Medical, ICU, and Inpatient Rehabilitation. Therapies will primarily address diagnoses such as multi-trauma, spinal cord injury, stroke, surgical interventions, orthopedic conditions, and neurological disorders.
Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans.
- Provide occupational therapy interventions in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.
- Document patient progress using the Epic charting system.
- Work flexibly across varying units and manage multiple patient assignments effectively.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of acute care experience.
- Experience with inpatient rehabilitation is a plus.
Certifications/Licensure
- Active Washington State Occupational Therapist License is required.
