Schedule/Shift
Day Shift, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm. Must be able to work Hawaii State and Federal Holidays as necessary.
Job Description
The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and re-evaluate assigned patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings. You will plan and implement ongoing therapeutic physical therapy programs as prescribed by the ordering physician, regularly updating treatment plans and home exercise programs. Independent management of a full caseload is required, with knowledge of when to perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and re-evaluate patients in outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Plan and implement therapeutic physical therapy programs as per physician's orders.
- Update treatment plans and home exercise programs regularly.
- Manage a full caseload independently.
- Perform re-evaluations based on insurance authorization guidelines.
Required Experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Occupational Therapist in outpatient and acute settings, specifically with adult patients.
Certifications/Licensure
- Must hold a valid Hawaii Occupational Therapist license.
- BLS certification from the American Red Cross is required.
