This position requires working the Day shift from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.

Job Description

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a skilled nursing facility. Responsibilities include monitoring patient health, administering medications and treatments, and working closely with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and IV therapy as per physician orders.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and health status.
• Assist with daily living activities for residents.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Required Experience

Applicants must have prior experience in skilled nursing or a related field.

Certifications/Licensure

• Current LPN license in the state of Mississippi.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• IV certification required.
