Schedule

Night 4x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) or Day 4x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30); caregivers do not rotate between shifts.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care in a Long Term Care (LTC) facility. The ideal candidate will have previous travel experience and must possess an active Alaska license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to residents.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting changes to the supervising RN or physician.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) for residents.
• Maintain accurate patient records and charting using the electronic charting system.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a Long Term Care setting.
• BLS certification.
• Current Alaska nursing license must be in hand upon application.
• Experience with a patient ratio of 1:20.
• Must obtain Alaska Food Worker Certification during orientation (one-time fee of $10).
