Job Description
The Endoscopy Technician will assist with endoscopic procedures and related patient care. The unit features a patient ratio of 1:1 and incorporates electronic medical records (EMR) for documentation. The technician will be responsible for preparing equipment and assisting the healthcare team during endoscopy procedures.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain endoscopic equipment.
- Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the procedures.
- Perform proper documentation using EMR.
- Participate in call rotations as required.
Required Experience
A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Endoscopy Technician is required.
Certifications/Licensure
- Certification as an Endoscopy Technician preferred.
