Schedule/Shift

5:30 A.M. - 7:00 P.M., working every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Job Description

The CVOR Tech will provide specialized surgical support in the operating room, assisting with procedures while ensuring the highest standards of safety and care for patients.

Responsibilities

• Assist the surgical team during procedures by preparing and maintaining equipment.
• Ensure the proper sterilization of instruments and surgical materials.
• Monitor patient vitals and assist in maintaining a sterile environment.
• Participate in surgical team briefings and debriefings for quality improvement.
• Document all relevant information accurately during surgical procedures.

Required Experience

Previous experience as a CVOR Tech in a hospital setting is required.

Certifications/Licensure

A valid certification as a surgical technologist or similar qualification is preferred.
