ARMStaffing is looking for a Certified Surgical Technologist, CVOR (Day Shift) in York, Pennsylvania.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Schedule requirements include alternating days off, 1-2 call days per week with a 30-minute response time, and every third or fourth weekend. Weekend coverage is from Friday 4:30 PM until Monday 6:00 AM. Holidays may be required as needed.

Job Description

The Certified Surgical Technologist will support a Level I trauma center with open-heart experiences, including caring for COVID patients. The position requires knowledge of the EPIC charting system and the ability to follow aseptic techniques in the operating room environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with surgical procedures in the CVOR.
• Ensure the sterile field is maintained during surgical procedures.
• Handle instruments, supplies, and equipment relevant to surgical procedures.
• Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure effective workflow during surgeries.
• Participate in post-operative care and preparing the operating room for subsequent procedures.

Required Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in CVOR.
• Experience in a Level I trauma center is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• NBSTSA certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• EPIC experience is required.
