ARMStaffing is looking for a CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (Day Shift) in Greenville, South Carolina.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

Shift hours are from 0600 to 1630, and on-call is required after shift hours on Fridays and Sundays during scheduled weeks. The candidate will need to take call at least two days each week and 1-2 weekends every 6-week schedule depending on the need.

Job Description

The CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist will support advanced cardiovascular surgical procedures in an 864-bed acute care teaching hospital, recognized as a Level I Adult Trauma Center. This role requires performing in the CVOR department with responsibility for assisting in various cardiothoracic surgeries.

Responsibilities

• Assist in various cardiovascular surgical procedures including Aortic Aneurysm repair, CABG, and Mitral valve replacement.
• Provide first assist roles during surgeries.
• Manage VAD and ECMO during surgical procedures.
• Ensure the application of proper sterile techniques and protocols.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of CVOR experience.
• Previous Level 1 Trauma experience is required.

Certifications/Licensure

• BLS certification required.
• CST certification through NBSTSA required.
