Electrophysiology Technician - 4x10 Day Shift

Shift: 4x10 Days (07:00 - 17:30)

Some Saturdays are required as part of the regular schedule.

Job Description

The Electrophysiology Technician will play a vital role in the cardiac department, assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures related to electrophysiology.

Responsibilities

• Assist with Diagnostic Cardiac Cath, Interventional Cardiac Cath, STEMI procedures, and other cardiac interventions.
• Monitor patients during procedures and assist in the management of critical cases.
• Utilize equipment such as IABP, Impella, and various atherectomy and thrombectomy devices.
• Perform duties in both interventional radiology and electrophysiology settings.
• Participate in on-call rotations, primarily from 6-8 PM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• 2 years of experience in electrophysiology or relevant cardiac settings.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS required.
• Experience with Epic charting system preferred.
• Must be willing to float within similar units as needed.
